Connections

Lidó Rico explores, through this exhibition, a completely unique aspect of how we perceive our own brain. Based on the systematic reproduction of this organ, the Murcian artist presents a series of themes that transcend any predictable situation. In this way, the viewer is invited to immerse themselves in a set of latent yet often overlooked issues that affect us on a daily basis. Contemporary art, understood not only as a tool but also as a social catalyst and agent of awareness, plays a fundamental role in the artist’s work. “Conexiones” (Connections) unfolds as an introspective journey that prompts reflection, placing primary emphasis on the role of emotions—those intangible yet undeniably powerful forces capable of restoring and strengthening us.
